Recent Accomplishments

In 2019 the Bremerton Schools and Alumni Foundation awarded $24,150 in college scholarships to 22 graduating seniors.  Many of these students were the first in their family ever to attend college.  In 2019 the Foundation also placed $5,500 in classroom grants and helped raise $7,847 to send the high school state champion Destination Imagination team to the national championship in Kansas City, Missouri.  The classroom grants and Missouri trip provide Bremerton students with experiences they may not otherwise be able to afford.   Finally, in 2019 the Foundation bought and gave a book to every Bremerton kindergartner, supported swim lessons for every Bremerton third grader, and bought school supplies to give students at the school districts annual back to school event.
